Delete account

You can delete your Nebira account yourself at any time.

In the app

Open Profile.
Tap “Delete account” and confirm with your password.

The deletion takes effect immediately. As long as an item you lent out has not been returned yet, deleting is not possible.

What is deleted

Email address, password, phone number, display name and home; you are signed out on all devices.
Your items are archived and their photos deleted.
Open requests and confirmed loans are cancelled, and you leave all groups.

What remains

Loans and chats remain available to the other people involved and show “deleted account”. Database backups are overwritten after 14 days. Afterwards you can use your email address and phone number for a new account.

No access to the app any more?

Write from the email address of your account to support@nebira.ch with the subject “Delete account”. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm it to you by email.
